Inspector told me to go do your research and look him up. He was right, his reviews were stellar! Fortunately for me, he was available the same day as the home inspection. Must say, Scott was a pleasure to deal with. He is extremely polite between our conversations and very professional. You can just tell by his work ethnics that he can be trusted. Instead of just quickly moving chair and stuff aside to do the sweep, he picks things up, moves them, and sets it gently down, scans area and moves it back to its original position. He finished before the house inspection, and verbally briefed me of any findings. Report was sent that evening. Definitely exceeded expectations! I think my agent was also impressed, saw him ask Scott for his poc. XD I typically don’t recommend anything to anyone because what works for me does not work for others, but i will definitely recommend Scott to friends and family if his service is needed.
Courteous, professional and thorough underground tank sweep service. Careful marking of the property to establish potential tank layout. Thorough time consuming sweep performed externally on the property. This included up to and underneath Low hanging tree branches. Politely addressed the homeowner while wearing a face mask inside the home. Careful inspection of the basement, even carefully moving items, to look for oil lines. Would do business with Scott again.

I had Scott from Hawkeye Services do oil tank sweeps before buying two properties in Belleville NJ. Prior to hiring Scott, I used many other contractors. Scott checked every corner and crawlspace that he could get in, as he is very clear about the results, either oil tank found or no oil tank found. And if he cannot find oil tank, he guarantees that in future an oil tank is found he will remove the tank, free of charge! I like that from a professional and we will continue to give more business to Hawkeye! I recommend others to also use Hawkeye.
Scott from Hawkeye Services did our tank sweep inspection. He was very professional and friendly. He examined the property with his equipment several times and kept coming back to one particular area in the backyard. Thanks to him, we discovered that there is an oil tank buried on the property. Scott did a tank sweep for us at an old home we a purchasing. He was easy to book an appointment with over text and arrived early to the house. He was very thorough with his sweep and took the time to point out old scars in the home that indicated where an oil tank had been removed. We got the results that same night!
